89 Afghan posts destroyed, 18 captured; 297 Taliban fighters killed

At the same time, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said in a late night update that security forces killed 297 fighters and more than 450 Afghan soldiers were injured. Describing the Taliban rule in Afghanistan, the minister said that during Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq, Pakistan destroyed 89 of their posts and captured 18 others. Along with this, about 135 tanks and armored vehicles were also destroyed. The minister said the Pakistani Air Force also effectively targeted around 29 locations across Afghanistan. Pakistan has launched a counter-attack named Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq after Afghanistan launched simultaneous attacks on 53 locations along the border. Addressing a press conference on Friday evening, army spokesperson Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary said that the Afghan Taliban will have to choose between Pakistan and terrorist organizations.
